Capstar for Dogs is a potent oral flea treatment for dogs and puppies from 4 weeks of age and weighing at least 2 lbs. Formulated with Nitenpyram as the active ingredient, these tablets start killing fleas within 30 minutes of administration and kill over 90% of fleas within 4 hours. It kills adult fleas before they can lay eggs and helps treat and control existing flea infestation.
It also kills fleas that cause flea allergy dermatitis and is safe for use in pregnant or nursing dogs. Furthermore, Capstar tablets can be used in conjunction with other treatments.
