Information
What is Simparica Chewables for Dogs?
Simparica Chewables is a highly palatable oral flea and tick treatment for dogs. With Sarolaner as the active ingredient, these easy-to-administer chews kill fleas before they can lay eggs and are indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations.
Suitable for dogs from 6 months of age and weighing at least 2.8 lbs, Simparica Chewables treats and controls Gulf Coast ticks, brown dog ticks, black-legged ticks, American dog ticks, and lone star ticks. Furthermore, it is recommended for the prevention of Lyme disease infections in dogs.
How Does Simparica Chewables Work?
With Sarolaner, an insecticide and acaricide from the isoxazoline group, as the active ingredient, Simparica Chewable effectively protects dogs against fleas and ticks. This potent component works by disrupting the nervous system of the parasite, leading to uncontrolled neuromuscular activity and death.
