Avert is an exceptionally bitter liquid that prevents birds from chewing, licking and biting wounds. It is specially designed to apply on bandage or dressings or around open wounds. The solution contains a high concentration of denatonium benzonate which is one of the bitterest substances. It works as a combination of bitter plants and oils.

Cant find a better bitterant, it is quite effective in controlling feather plucking in our parakeet.
