Interceptor Brown for Dogs (2-10 lbs)
Interceptor Brown is a potent worm treatment. It is designed to protect dogs that weigh between 2 and 10 lbs against heartworm disease and various intestinal worms.These oral, flavored tablets prevent heartworm disease by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae. The oral treatment effectively removes and controls adult roundworms and whipworms and is indicated to control adult hookworms.
Interceptor 2-10 lbs Dogs: Milbemycin oxime (2.3 mg)
With milbemycin oxime (2.3 mg) as its active ingredient, Interceptor for 2-10 lbs Dogs offers a wider coverage against a range of worms. This potent active ingredient effectively targets the immature larval stage of heartworms and eliminates gastrointestinal worms including whipworms and roundworms while controlling hookworms.
Directions
- Before commencing the treatment, test your dog for an existing heartworm infection.
- Weight your dog to ascertain the right dosage.
- Administer Interceptor tablet orally, once a month (preferably on the same date).
- The first dose should be administered within one month of the dog’s first exposure to mosquitoes.
- The tablet can be administered orally or may be offered in food.
- After administration, monitor your dog and confirm if the entire dose is consumed.
- If the dose is not entirely consumed, re-administer the whole dose.
- If a dose is missed, immediately administer a full dose and resume the monthly schedule.
