These easy-to-administer flavored tablets effectively control adult hookworms. The treatment is useful in the removal and control of adult roundworm and whipworm infections. This monthly treatment also prevents heartworm disease by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae. Interceptor Flavor Tabs are suitable for puppies and dogs from 4 weeks of age and weighing at least 2 lbs.
Interceptor for dogs contains Milbemycin oxime as the active ingredient, which works by interfering with the parasite's invertebrate neurotransmission. It targets and eliminates the tissue stage of heartworm larvae. Additionally, it attacks the adult stage of intestinal worms and treats and controls whipworms and roundworms and effectively controls hookworms.
